Created for Chelmsford’s inaugural Art Trail, this sculpture was designed in collaboration with Farleigh Hospice to celebrate community resilience, care, and connection. The piece captures the hospice’s mission of providing compassionate support across Mid Essex, translating themes of hope and shared human experience into a tangible visual form.
Generously sponsored by Essex & Suffolk Water for the public trail, the artwork resonated so strongly with the team that they subsequently purchased the piece for their permanent collection.

Inspired by the delicate balance of our natural world, 'British Summer Time' brings together the Bee, wildflowers, and evergreen ivy. Bees are the quiet heartbeat of our ecosystem; without them and the flowers they tend, our world would not thrive.
This Sculpture is a tribute to that delicate relationship, reminding us how precious and fragile life truly is. Created in support of Farleigh Hospice, it stands as a symbol of hope, resilience , and the beauty of nurturing one another through every season of life.
